M'Khol had gotten a quick Sonic Shower, and had changed into a fresh uniform before heading down to the Shuttle Bay to meet up with the rest of the Away Team. He had to admit that he felt a lot luckier than the officers on the previous Away Team mission, as he at least didn't have to wear those silly costumes.
He took a final glance at the Padd that he carried with him, making sure that he'd memorized everything that was remotely useful to him. He suspected that there wouldn't bee too much to do on this particular mission, as scans showed no one around the Copernicus save her own crew. Still, he couldn't rule out the potential of mutiny, wild animal attack, polywater intoxication, parasitic symbiont infection, or any of the numerous other things that were always an unlikely, yet possible, threat.
He noted that the shuttle had been fit with the Medevac module, and he wondered whether or not the Copernicus would have any noteworhy injuries to report. From what he'd heard of the whole situation, he thought that the biggest issue was going to be getting the Copernicus flight-worthy again, so they could tow her to a facility for repairs.
He then scanned the manifest for the Away Team, looking through names that were largely unfamiliar to him. One did stick out - Chloe Renard. He scowled. While he would be glad to see her again, he did fear that there might be tension or distraction as a result of the night before, and he didn't want anything of the sort to mess up what should have otherwise been considered a routine Away Team mission.
With a sigh, he entered the shuttle, sat down in one of the seats in the rear half, and waited for the rest of the party to arrive. He assumed that due to the haste inherent in the mission that they would all arrive shortly.
