Emmarie quickened her pace a bit to catch up to Lieutenant Hunter. "Your name is Lieutenant Hunter, correct?" She asked. She thought that's what they'd said over the comm, but she couldn't recall for certain. "I'm new, so I don't really know anyone aboard the Talon yet." She added by way of explanation.
"That's quite the fetching outfit you're wearing there," she commented with a grin. She wondered idly what the Aescans had for undergarments. Low tech societies often had horribly itch, uncomfortable fabrics. "I'm kind of upset that I was on the Away Team that didn't have to play dress up. Did you get to meet the natives at all?"
Her hands fidgeted despite her best attempts to control them for a moment, before she asked "You were knocked unconscious by an energy beam down there? Are you sure you shouldn't be checked out by medical before you visit the bridge? What if they infected you with something like an infectious disease or a parasite or something?" It was clear that she was genuinely concerned about the Lieutenant. Emmarie was especially concerned because it wasn't in any of the information that had been sent up by the Copernicus team, or in the quick burst transmission that the Away Team was sent back. "You should at least check yourself over with a Tricorder," she said, handing over the Tricorder that she'd been using. She suspected that the Captain wasn't aware of the fact that two members of the Away Team had been knocked unconscious. At least, if he did, she thought that he would have required the medical team to check Hunter over before allowing him on the bridge. What if he was contagious, or mind controlled, or had been replaced by a changeling or something of the sort?
**Stop being paranoid,** Emmarie chided herself quickly. **You're not security, it's not your problem.**
