Georgie wasn't sure what she'd expected from him when it came to his dancing ability. Whatever she had expected, though, she didn't think that she could have ever believed he'd be really, really good. It was a generally held belief amongst women that a man's dancing ability said a lot about his proficiency in... other physical areas. Georgie found herself looking forward very much to finding out if that was true of Hunter.
She didn't suppose he knew how many hours she'd spent twirling around in the holodeck with photonic partners, all the while hoping that she was practicing for the day she'd be able to hold a real person close and dance with them. She wasn't about to tell him, either. But nothing in those many, many hours had prepared her for the feeling she'd get; feeling his arms around her, feeling herself almost floating with the ease of two accomplished dancers together, feeling her heart soar as he gazed lovingly into her eyes as they moved. It was like nothing she'd ever felt before in her whole life.
As the dance ended and he span and dipped her, she felt her breath taken away with the unexpected motions. And then, then-
His lips met hers and she returned his kiss eagerly. Her arms wrapped around his neck and she kissed him passionately. It was a good job that this was nothing more than a simulation; she was sure that the noise that came out of her, somewhere between a whimper and a moan, was nothing that a genteel lady should be uttering in polite company such as that which they occupied at that moment.
Finally she broke away with a short gasp, gazing into his eyes.
"Oh, William," she breathed. "You are..." How to tell him what she felt? That he was everything she'd ever dreamed of and so much more. That he made her heart soar, made her feel complete and like she was capable of just about anything. "You're amazing."
