"Alright.. but keep a comm away."
"Certainly," Ludir said. However, to himself, he wondered what precisely the Security Officer expected him to do. Take a spacewalk without a suit? Beam down to the planet for no apparent reason? There really weren't that many places that he could go where he wouldn't be within communications range. Security guards. Such odd types. They were always trying to bully others around, and half of what they said was completely nonsensical.
"I should be on my way as well."
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Lieutenant Commander. Hopefully when next we meet the situation will be a bit less bizarre." He wondered if in saying that if he was setting their next meeting up to be even more bizarre. Shaking his head, he forced away silly superstitions. He wondered if this "Q" - if that's really what it was - was still around, or if it was now long gone. He knew that he'd be paranoid that someone as watching him at all times for the forseeable future. That was going to make showering awkward for certain, and he was glad that he'd gotten rid of most of his odd habits. With a yawn, he disappeared in the direction of his quarters. Hopefully, he could get a good nap in without being bothered by a random non-corporeal pest.
**I wonder how long I'm going to be too paranoid to even scratch my butt,** Ludir thought to himself. He'd gotten over the possibility of the Prohpets visiting him pretty quickly, but generally they made their presence known.
Or at least, Ludir assumed he would.
But... what if they had been there before and he hadn't noticed? He wouldn't have known that because he didn't notice...
He groaned audibly to himself, palm slapping lightly against his forehead as he hoped that this wasn't the start of a very paranoid week.
End: Ludir
