"Many tales. I would very much like to hear them. The drums will sound kindly to you."
"Hardly," she said. "I think there will be more applause for the fact that I'm gone. In my job I don't make many friends." As he wandered back to the PADD she had given him, she rubbed the skin where her latest tattoo had been placed. It was still slightly tender, but not obviously new to anyone who viewed it.
"Is there anything else I must know to survive here?"
Her laughter filled the room. "How much time do you have?" She waved a hand and moved over to the table and sat down. "Don't touch an Andorian's antennae," she began. As she talked, she ticked off each one by touching another finger. "Don't piss off Tazer. He's the Governor and quick to the trigger when he's angered." She should know. "Don't rip off your clothes in front of everyone." She gave him a wink. "Don't have dinner with a-"
Her pocket beeped. "I'm going to reach in here," she said, pointing to it. "I am not going for a weapon, okay?" She pulled out a small mini-PADD and scrolled through her messages. "Another transport has arrived." Sighing, she looked up at him. "Lots of work for me in about fifteen minutes. Do you want to hop onto the transport? I can let them know you're coming. It'll take you to through the Bajoran wormhole to DS9." Standing up, he patted him on the beefy forearm. "I'll let you know, though, that it's a totally Starfleet station. You think you'll have guards here? Triple them, there." Elly was not one to be taken by the 'for the good of Bajor' Starfleet line. She knew why they were there.
