Senneh let out the breath she hadn't realised she was holding as he turned and left, wordlessly. She wasn't going to be intimidated by him. She could look after herself, she knew that she could... but even so, she thought she might just mention this little episode to Scott. For a start, he was going to want to hear some sort of explanation for the new blood stain on the carpet.
She looked down at her hands, and suddenly realised that they were shaking. Why me? Maybe she was scared, after all. Shivering all over, all of a sudden, she left the living area and went into their bedroom, pulling a blanket from the cupboard. As she slung it around her shoulders, she felt a tear slip down her face.
"Stop it... stop being stupid," she muttered to herself, but she couldn't convince herself. She felt kind of sick, so very shaky, and cold. She picked up a PADD from the table and walked over to the sofa, sitting down. Tapping away, she first set up a protocol for the computer to alert her whenever Lieutenant Hunter was within 20 metres of her position on the same deck. Then, she keyed up a short message to Scott, and sent it to him, despite the fact that she knew he'd be on the bridge. Somehow, she couldn't help herself. She need to know he was there for her, aware of her situation. Admit it, you just want a hug.
Message sent, she closed her eyes and pulled herself into a ball on the sofa.
"Computer," she muttered, "seal the doors to my quarters. No-one in or out except for myself and Commander Hireen." The computer beeped and acknowledgement and Senneh nodded to herself. Probably an erroneous move, but it made her feel better.
