"Agreed, but we need to make sure we're not trapping anyone in there first... contact security to send in a team to check the areas before we activate the emergency bulkheads."
She nodded.
"Yes, sir." Though of course, any such message from her could be no more than a request. There wasn't a single person on the security staff she could give an order to, unless they'd picked up some enlisted crew she wasn't aware of. Still, she tapped out the request and sent it off anyway.
"I'm sending Ensign Splint to join you, for now I don't know if I'll be able to send anyone else. Good luck."
A brief smile fluttered across her face at the mention of Bruce. She wondered how her sister would take to working with someone lik that... and if Bruce would manage to keep his irrepressible flirting under control just because they'd put the red light bulb in.
"Rok is trapped in a turbolift, according to his lifesigns he looks to be healthy. Hopefully we can send someone to help him soon."
She nodded again. She understood the protocols in situations like this; when the ship had suffered this much damage no-one went chasing after individuals, especially if they seemed to be in good health. Cobus was smart; Zi had faith he'd find his own way out before anyone had a chance to go looking for him.
"Do we have any damaged EPS conduits?"
She was already in the middle of running a diagnostic to tell her exactly that.
"It'll be a while before I can give you a full list," she said. Full ship diagnostics were never quick. "But yes, we do, of varying levels of severity. It's possible they're causing localised outages in some of the key systems." She looked up at Logan. "It's possible that's the cause of the problems with the gravitational systems, though I'd defer to Georgie's expertise on that one."
She'd learnt a long time ago that whereas her sister was blind to many things - most notably how to get and keep a normal healthy relationship - she was never normally wrong when it came to her environmental systems.
Talk about screwed up priorities.
On the other hand, those priorities were keeping her and everyone else on the ship alive, so maybe she shouldn't complain.
"The shields are draining a lot of power," she said, frowning at the console. "And the emergency containments, of course. I could shut off some of the non-essentials and reroute some power around the grid?" She pulled up a list. "Transporters, personal replicators... I'm sure science have a stack of experiments they can put on hold in exchange for keeping the ship in one piece."
