Opening the doors of the business and flipping on the light, Mac and Omara walked into the bar and looked around. Buying this was the scariest thing he had ever done in his life. He was the new owner of the the "Pi in the Sky" on the SGE. He was a twenty five year old newlywed man striking it out on his own with the help and blessing of both his and her parents.
"I think I'll have the place redecorated and bring in new furnishings and maybe have a new menu designed and I might have to get some new games but I'll have to check the stock and make sure we have the right kind of drink mixes," he babbled on and on excitedly.
Omara laughed at her husband of two weeks and hugged him. "I'm very proud of you," she smiled up at him and kissed him gently on the mouth. "I will leave you to plan and dream while I go find our new apartment. I'll be waiting for you when you get finished and you can fill me in on all your plans." With another kiss Mrs. MacDonald left to claim their first place.
Watching his lovely wife leave Mac then moved around behind bar and fixed himself a very human drink, rum and cola, and sat down on a stool looking over the books on a computer. They served lunches as well as dinner items but nothing too elaborate. He liked that. But the largest revenue came from the sell of drinks and ales. It had employed several people; bartenders, waitresses, game hosts and hostesses, cooks and bouncers. He hoped he'd be able to rehire as many of the former employees as he could.
