Robin's rush from the Nest was due in part that he needed to change back into his uniform which he had to do at one of the shuttlebay toilets upon arrival. It would have taken him too long to have gone back to his quarters, it was after all, an emergency. "What have we got?" He asked to one of the Ensigns rushing up to him as he walked along the large space of the bay that sheltared the many shuttles on board.
"We don't have much information on some kind of transmitter, only that it's small, covered in a sticky substance and is undetectable by sensors, at least tricorder ones. We haven't found anything yet" The Ensign told Robin, hiding the hint of worry in his voice. The fact that they couldn't detect the device was incredibly alarming. "We already have teams visually checking the shuttles." Added the ensign.
Robin nodded, noticing the several members of personnel exploring the hull of the various shuttles. After telling the ensign to help out with one of the small teams, he contacted the various other departments requesting for a small group of engineering and ops if they could be spared. He also asked for a security officer, they might think of hiding spot that was better than the more obvious ones and they needed to find these things fast, if there was anymore of them.
Grabbing a tricorder and flashlight from the nearby storage, Robin entered one of the type-11s which hadn't yet been checked. He started with looking under the front of the cockpit in which he couldn't help but feel a moment of deja vu in regards to Reesa. A while back she had been lying next to him under the flight control console, he knew she would be on the job as fast as he had been, maybe faster. She sure as hell was one determined woman.
Robin stuck the flashlight in his mouth as he unhinged one of the panels underneath the console, his eyes scrutinizing the circuits, wires and anything else that was there.
