When Giovanni was stressed, his Italian accent showed through rather prominently. He was beginning to get stressed, and his words demonstrated that rather clearly. He'd told both Zaynah and Ahska to hold on the the velvet rope he'd procured, which was still fastened to his belt. Meanwhile, he tried to stay as close to the ground as possible, relying on whatever hand holds he could find. Fortunately, he enjoyed rock climbing.
They came across an equipment locker, and he looked over to Zaynah. "Can you open that? It might have gravity boots or something else we could use. If there's a medkit, we should grab one just in case." It was always best to be prepared, and somehow he doubted that an emergency transport to the medical complex was going to happen.
They reached the first turbolift a few moments later, and Gio sighed as it failed to open. "Looks like we're going to have to get all the way to the travel core," He said. Their progress was slow, but at least they were doing something rather than just sitting around waiting for the inevitable. "Why in the world hasn't this station gone to red alert?" He grumbled a bit before adding, "This is why I left Starfleet in the first place. Things never make any sense."
Ahead he saw a group of human civilians floating through the air, and he frowned. "If we stop to help everyone we pass, we'll never get Ahska to her children. What do you guys suggest we do? Continue on, or help everyone?"
