B'ranon couldn't help but watch the exchanged that had developed between Ensign Diran and a member of the Y'angdar crew. He knew that most humanoids (at least from the Alpha Quadrant) found such gestures intrusive and a bit uncomfortable. Even as a Security Officer he could easily imagine the young man having similar feelings. Still, it seemed that Diran's actions allowed him to remain calm and limit the chance of offense. B'ranon didn't contribute anything more, but simply casually observed. After all, Doctor Roshan was studying them, it was only fair to allow the Y'angdar to be a little inquisitive.
"Thank you. Unless there's anything else, I should get these back to sickbay," said Doctor Roshan.
"Very well," Loch replied. "Thank you, Doctor." He nodded in the woman's direction as she took her leave from the Cargo Bay. His eyes then returned to the Y'angdar Captain. "I'm sure my fellow crew mates that visited your ship explained how our Federation works. How it's comprised of a number of worlds. Many of those worlds are represented by members of the crew."
Loch turned his eyes towards Diran and the Y'angdar female once more. He then turned his gaze back towards the Y'angdar Captain. "That could explain some of the interest your crew has in some of us," Loch attempted to explain. Though, after taking a glance at Diran and the young female Y'angdar once more, the Counselor cleared his throat with a slight smile. "Well, some of the interest."
He didn't really wish to explain what he had meant. "Will you excuse me for just a moment, Captain," Loch said. "I'd like to notify Captain Monroe of our progress." Loch stepped away for a moment and moved towards the panel at the door of the Cargo Bay. There, he typed up a brief report, simply highlighting that Doctor Roshan was currently working on her analyses of the Y'angdar's biology, as well as notify him that the Y'angdar were for the time being comfortable in the Bay. Though, with a little perusing, he managed to learn that the Talon was returning to SGE.
Closing his session with the panel, he moved to return to the vicinity of the Y'angdar Captain. "Is there anything else we can offer you and your crew to make you comfortable, Captain?" Loch asked. He was well aware that Adam had done an exceptional job of making them comfortable by trying to provide them with food and water among a number of things. Yet, Loch wanted to be certain that the Y'angdar remained comfortable until Captain Monroe or Commander Jaivyn were available.
