"I hope it isn't too much," B'ranon said, "but I think anyone would agree that greatness deserves to be celebrated." There was a table filled with plenty of food, and nearby over a fire was what appeared to be a bird roasting over a fire. "Besides, every other time we come into the holodeck, it's usually so that you can knock me on my ass." B'ranon shrugged. "What can I say, I like a little variety."
He then moved towards a table and picked up a bottle of Saurian brandy. "This was a gift from a Breen Ambassador a while ago," B'ranon mentioned. "I can't think of anyone better to share it with than the woman that played the best game of Parisses Squares that I've ever seen." B'ranon chuckled a bit. "Hell, I almost forgot I was playing in that game as well. But I'm sure the folks back on SGE won't be forgetting about you anytime soon." He proceeded to pour some of the brandy into a pair goblets and then handed one to Liz.
"To a battle well-fought," he said, and the glory that follows." He lifted his goblet into the air, and waited for Liz to do the same. The surroundings seemed fitting to a degree. It was a mock up of the Great Hall at Qam-chee. The location that the legendary Kahless and Lakura fought off five hundred of Molor's soldiers. Granted, during the game, they only had four opponents, and it was an even match, Liz had still outdone herself. Hell, he wouldn't have been surprised if she had made a career out of it.
//"All hands, brace for impact!"//
The Captain's voice seemed to erupt from nowhere. And suddenly, B'ranon felt himself thrown instantly and knocked from his feet. Most of the food went crashing to the floor, as the table was overturned. Even the bird that had been roasting crashed to the floor. B'ranon felt his head smack against the stone, and for a moment it seemed as if everything went black.
He wasn't sure how long he had been out, but he knew that it had to be at least for a few seconds. He slowly began to push himself up, his eyes noticed what looked like a crackle of electricity on the far wall as it teased at the holodeck's hidden grid lines. "Computer... end program," he groaned. Yet, there seemed to be no response. B'ranon's brow furrowed as he called out again. "Computer! I said end program!" Nothing. Not the acknowledging chime or the annoying buzz signaling that the computer wasn't going to comply.
He looked around, his eyes searching for a sign of Liz. "Elizabeth?" he said, calling out her name. It was what he had chosen to call her when they first met back on Peleb. She had told him that her friends had called her Liz. It hadn't been an honor he felt he'd earned at the time. And while they'd met for the occasional sparring session (which generally consisted of her neatly handing him his ass) he hadn't attempted to call her by any other name. "Elizabeth? Are you all right?"
