"Just dandy ."
B'ranon exhaled a sigh of relief. With Liz out of sight, he had no idea what sort of trials Galartha would put Liz through... or vice versa. Though, hearing her voice was somewhat of a relief. It certainly renewed B'ranon's determination to double his efforts and move past this partition. As he continued upwards, he eventually heard Liz's voice once more. Again, it wasn't devoid of distress or fear which was a good sign. Though, he had no idea of Liz even knew what fear was. He doubted that she was on speaking terms with the emotion.
"If I die, please know that I leave the teddy bear hidden under my bed to you, and you must tell no one."
He couldn't deny the smile that had found its way upon his face. He shook his head as he paused for a moment before continuing his ascent. "I have to say that I'm honored to be chosen as the recipient of such a treasure," B'ranon said. "Know that your bear would be perfectly safe and find a similar home in my quarters." His hand reached out to firmly grip a hold as he pulled himself upwards. "I don't suppose our little friend has a name?"
"Bran, hurry up! You have to see this."
B'ran's eyes titled upwards, and he noticed some slight movement. This again encouraged him to move on, and with a bit more haste. He soon caught sight of Liz and smiled as he continued to pull himself up along side her. "Now, what's all the fuss abo--" His voice fell silent as he peered out at the horizon. "Breathtaking," he muttered simply as his eyes fell upon the outline of the capital city. He smiled as he continued to absorb the scene before him.
"It's strange," he said as he continued to look out at the view before him. "It reminds me of so many places, and then it also reminds me of nothing at all." The counselor continued with his confession. "The view from here is just... astounding. I can only imagine what it all looks like from the top. "The smile on his face broadened as he turned to look back at Liz as she continued to enjoy the view. "Of course, there's only one way to find out, right?" After a moment, his eyes turned upwards at the remainder of the mountain before them.
