Desan's lips quirked up as Tricia joined him in tormenting the Ferengi who was growing more and more uncomfortable by the moment. Most at Deep Space 9 didn't really know what his role at the station was, but they knew from the company he kept that he was at least somewhat influential.
"Freg" uttered some sort of noise that almost sounded like a mixture of pain and fear before darting out of Desan's grip. Desan stumbled a bit to keep up the impression that he was really inebriated, and used it as a convenient excuse to put an arm over Tricia for support. He looked up at her for one moment to wink at her, before going back to his "drunk look."
"Come on baby, Let's have another drink."
"Alright," Desan said somewhat forlornly. "I dunno what Freg's problem was, I just wanted to buy some stuff from him again." His words were slightly slurred. "He has access to all sorts of nice things." He gestured to the fire stone bracelet that she was wearing, "I could get you a nice necklace to match that."
It might have all just been a facade, but he certainly wasn't going to avoid an opportunity to flirt.
Mentally, he was running all sorts of scenarios through his head - most importantly finding out who that Ferengi was, and who he was working for. He spared a glance up at the bar and found that his cohort had already taken advantage of the confusion to get "lost" in the crowd. It was of no matter to Desan though, as he had a great ability to remember faces, and would be able to find out who they claimed to be soon enough.
"Can I buy you another drink, dear?" He asked with a charming smile.
