"Sir?"
Even though he was glad she was listening, the contact interuptions were getting rather irritating.
"As in... she's familiar with the station and its systems? As in, this information was provided by Jack Carter himself?"
"Possibly... but that is mere speculation," he explained though he didn't believe it to be suspision. It was too much of a coincedence to mean nothing. "Jack Carter's involvement in the situation is up in the air and under investigation. That is all there is to it."
"What else do we know?"
"You haven't the clearance to know." He frowned, the questions getting to him. "You know enough to do your job, Lieutenant."
"Fair warning, sir,"
"What?" he asked without looking back at her. The confined space of the jeffrey's tube didn't vacilitate such movement.
"I'm empathic upon physical contact. I just thought I'd let you know just in case we bump into each other in here. There isn't exactly any elbow room in here."
"Then keep your hands to yourself." He instructed to her. It was common sense. He had little tolerance for mental abilities. He found them either intruding on someone's personal thoughts or just liers who claimed to be able to hear and see things that just weren't there. Gavum was happy to stick to the visible spectrum of things and leave the rest to sensors. He continued to crawl until he reached the access port. Pressing the open button, he growled as he noticed nothing happened.
"Great." He muttered under his breath before opening a small panel beside him and taking out the manual clamps. Soon enough it was open, and he awkwardly climbed out into the small compartment. There were a couple of large computer lining the walls and a main display, with several sealed panels below. Glancing to the chronometer, he looked to Vance.
"Well, get to it."
