Etaera had went back to her quarters and had managed to get almost a solid 8 hours of sleep before she had to get ready to deal with the incoming modules. As she was relatively experienced as a Captain, she'd gotten quite good at sleeping, even when there was something going on that would keep most people awake. She hadn't heard any explosions, nor had anyone called her to tell her Boribeth had escaped, and she took that as a good sign. Either that, or someone was keeping things from her.
The replicator in her quarters was functional, so she managed to eat breakfast while she went over the status reports that had come in while she was asleep. It wasn't technically breakfast time, but she'd found that one could never really expect to keep a normal schedule in Starfleet. One couldn't simply hail attacking Romulans and ask them to postpone their combat engagement until a more suitable hour than 3am, and most other crises were similarly lacking in proper temporal etiquette.
While on the short turbolift trip to the Command Center, she wondered just how long it was going to take the Engineers to get the modules in place so she could visit the arboretum. She'd heard that they were already growing a few species of Etimonian flora, and she was eager to see it.
Entering the Command Center, she walked over to one of the Consoles and checked the progression of the station modules. Judging by their current speed, she figured they would arrive in just under an hour.
She tapped her comm badge. "Commander Tykat how goes the preparations for the arrival of the new modules?" She assumed that the Tellarite was in the Reactor Core, getting everything ready so that they could seamlessly add the new modules without a loss of power to other locations on the station. Etaera had sent out messages to all of the Civilians to make them aware that there could be a bit of bumping, or flickering of lights while the new modules were attached just in case.
