"No one was supposed to get hurt or die. I'm not sure of what to think or do,"
Mac sounded like he was having kittens and Carlos smiled to himself. Being from a profession that saw more violent behaviours and being okay with that, the sight of what had happened to befall the black knight was not shocking to the German. From all that he had watched, heard or read up on he knew that the armour could take one hell of a beating before failing its wearer. That is of course what they were designed for and why the horses were all more of the harness to heavy horse type. They were brilliant for holding up the weight of man and metal.
Course, a body of man and metal rising into the air was something else.
Carlos slowly got to his feet as well by this point but he had no clue as to what might happen. This wasn't a program he had made, so he didn't know what was to come next or what had been programmed. But evidently the friend who had knew Mac would eventually this out for himself. He watched as the Knight sparkled, turned, and faced them revealing his true nature. Carlos trusted his instincts and they were buzzing like the proverbial honey bee, so he kept up his guard and remained wary but open minded.
"There's more to come. A special surprise from me and whoever you brought with you. Enjoy!"
He raised an eyebrow, "A bagful of tricks, your friend," he commented airily before the scene changed quite dramatically. Everything staged and everything medieval. He could hear the music, he could see the slow movement of the dancers and Carlos pondered at the dance. It looked distinctly Georgian but he wasn't all that knowledgeable about dancing or its history. All he knew from any film or series with a medieval setting to it that had included dancing seemed to be a lot more restrained.
He shrugged before a high pitched squeal distracted him and raised a brow slightly as the two same women from before joined them.
"It's Bridget and Millicent! Oh goodie!"
"Maybe it's a German thing but do I detect sarcasm?" he grinned before he offered the pair of women a wave.
"You two simply must come and dance!" Bridget exclaimed taking Carlos' hand, beaming up at him with an expression that made it rather difficult for Carlos to form any excuse not to. Carlos didn't dance. He didn't know how. It seemed Millicent had the same idea with Mac and he chuckled.
"I'm very rusty in dancing, I'd step on your toes und everything," he replied, moving her hand away as she started fiddling with buttons.
"Any idea what your friend meant before, Mac?"
