As it was Jayde only knew Jaylana, some faces were more familiar than others depending on the number of times where they had entered to collect their supplies. On other times, she or the others of her staff did the delivering. Still, least she wasn't alone and that was the mercy she would thank for now.
She glanced at Nathan, he seemed quieter than the others and hadn't really responded to her concerns about their health. It was a valid question after all, from both a duty and human perspective. Course, the oasis was more than enough of a distraction. It was something that didn't seem a natural part of the monotone landscape that surrounded them, it had the blues and the greens from the water and trees with a splodge of brown.
"but I'm going to go ahead and vote for heading down to the lake, because I don't know about you, but I'm thirsty."
Jayde listened to all of what was said about what had been discovered thus far, "I take it your tech doesn't function either," she said, it was perhaps wishful thinking for their technology to start working but it was a simple conclusion that if neither her pieces of gear worked, anything electrical in nature they had them wouldn't be working either.
"Right, let's go take a look then and hope it's not some kind of joke," she said, nodding. They weren't going to know if it was real or fake by standing here and the oasis provided them something to use the time and to be useful. She started to head on to the mass of water and trees, knowing they had at least a decent team to throw ideas around.
As far as she knew, there didn't seem to an immediate way out of this but rather a puzzle they would have to unravel.
