He was hearing the same exact thing from both females of two different species so that, in itself, gave it merit. And it did made sense. It was the females who were putting themselves out there, so to speak, when it came to perpetuating the species. They took all the risks.
"Treat her like a star, And you'll feel and be the top wolf. That's what my father told my sister's mate."
Mac grinned widely with a slight chuckle. "That's actually very good advice, General," he said to her with a nod.
"I'm sure she really does love you, and I believe you love her."
"Yeah, I do love her," he replied to the Doctor. "She's the only one for me. She's my perfect mate, I guess you can say. Now, if I can just get her to learn to cook a good Spanish omelette," he cut his eyes at Patricia with a teasing smirk and gave a light laugh. "Nah, Omara is perfect for me. As long as I've got her I've got everything."
As he ran with the two females he realized how truly happy he was with his wife. She was going to have his baby and that was fine with him. They were going to be a family. A man couldn't ask for more. Even if his business failed and the world went to the dogs as long as he had Omara he could make it. He'd be alright.
"Well, ladies, I have enjoyed this run but I must be getting back to see how my wife is and then check in at the Pi. I left my manager there to see about things and I should get back. Thank you both very much for your words of encouragement. I appreciate it more than you know."
Slowing down he stopped where he had left his towel. Wiping away the sweat from his face he placed it around the back of his neck and waved good-bye to both Dr. Quirrel and General Kunama and left track to head back to his wife and eventually back to the Pi in the Sky.
