"Howe, here. They have and most of it has already washed over. The margin was really close. I think we owe the engineers who designed and built them a few rounds of drinks."
The sound of the news brought a smile to Henri's face. She nodded from her position. "Acknowledged," she said. Heading in your direction now. Braddock continued to move through the crawl space until she reached the access hatch and stepped into one of the corridors. She could see the blue flashes along the walls. It was a steady reminder that they were still in a state of crisis. She proceeded to head back towards the central core.
As she reached her destination, she caught sight of Lieutenant Howe nearby. She set down her engineering kit and proceeded towards a vacant panel. Her hands danced over one of the displays. She did a visual inspection of her own, as well as recalled whatever resources had been dispelled to handle the emitter crisis. Currently, it appeared that all was as Howe had said. The emitters were holding. So, the engineers did deserve a round of drinks. She didn't think it would take too much convincing to get everyone to gather in the Pi after this with such a promise.
"Do you think we should try to reboot a few of the systems?" Braddock said. "It may help to stabalize some of the systems that are fluctuating such as the environmental controls." Braddock internally weighed the option. That was of course assuming that the damage wasn't more extensive and needed repairs to the actual hardware. Her eyes looked aruond, surveying the area to see if Lieutenant O'Leary had arrived. Naturally, the safety of her fellow officers was among her chief concerns.
