Grabbing onto B'ranon so that she had something to keep her on her feet, she made her way back over the panel, also using the wall to help her along. Ignoring the chair Loch had pulled out for her she knelt back on the chair so that she was no longer on her legs but still eye level with the panel on the wall. Commander Sur'Shess had given Athena an order and she was determined to see it through, or she just wanted to see what Loch would find from the sensors that she had missed. Either way, kneeling on the chair was a safer bet than sitting on a chair where she could easily fall asleep.
She watched as he moved to a replicator, something which she had failed to notice was in the room, and returned to her. She rejected the medicine as she had fairly recently had a dose and a second one would not be a good idea so soon after the first, but she gladly accepted the water. Her eyes glanced to his neck and she took note of the two solid pips sitting there. “Thank you, Lieutenant.” she nodded and began to sip on the refreshing liquid.
“We were trying to see if there was some way we could track her.” Shaw began to inform Loch, keeping a good grip on the glass of water so she didn't drop it. “So far I haven't found anything that looks useful, but I could be wrong.” She continued and took another sip of her drink.
The young Ensign ignored his compliment. Now wasn't the time for that kind of thing, and besides she had just been doing what Sur'Shess had asked her to. Following orders, that's what Shaw was all about, even if she wasn't feeling one hundred percent. And right now she was more like twenty percent.
Athena glanced over to Liz when the comms came back into life with the voice of a female and then a few seconds later a male. Liz's plan seemed to be coming together.
Nerves began to fill Ensign Shaw as each second passed. If this plan worked, how would this Q react? Would she come after Liz for what she was about to do? Then there was the feeling of what if this failed? Was this going to kill them all? If it did, at least Shaw could die with the knowledge that she had never killed anyone.
No she couldn't think like that... she needed to think of the positives. If this worked no one else would have to die and they could all do something together to stop the crazy being. If this worked no one would be trapped anymore and she get the treatment she really needed and could have several longs naps. She knew that the medical staff would be waking her every couple of hours to check she was still responsive, but at least she could fall asleep.
“How do you track someone that can move through the air with a click of their fingers?” She began to speak her inner thoughts out loud as she returned her focus to the task at hand. But maybe that had given her an idea. When she moved so would stuff around her. “Air dis... air dis...” She began but couldn't quite think of the word she wanted. Hopefully B'ranon would catch on to what she was trying to say.
