It had been a very subtle invitation. One in fact, that Aurora likely would have ignored, despite the rather alluring suggestion that it promised the opportunity of a lifetime. Such a bold statement instantly won her skepticism, especially considering the source. Isaac Hargreaves... he was hardly more than a glorified bartender and practically brand new to DS10. That naturally begged the question, what could he possibly have to offer that presented itself as an opportunity to Aurora?
Of course, her alternative for the evening wasn't something she really cared for either. Station security had requested yet another interview as they tried to clarify the facts revolving around Lieutenant Hunter's acquisition of her vessel. One problem was that currently, she had no idea what Hunter had told them. She doubted that she could be implicated in any way. A member of her detail had already fallen upon that sword, taking responsibility and suggesting that the Lieutenant had come to them insisting that it was a matter of life and death. In an attempt to assist their allies, they complied... until they realized what was truly happening.
So, with that being the story, why they were so insistent on collecting her statement was what bothered her. Had Hunter opened his mouth? She had no way of discerning that (yet), because he wasn't aboard DS10. The rumor was that some admiral was meddling in the situation and at the very least granted him a brief reprieve to attend Sig Ericson's memorial service. So, for the time being, Aurora planned to make herself indisposed... and that clearly left her accepting Hargreaves Invitation.
She arrived at the holosuite that she was supposed to be meeting Isaac. She paused a moment, wondering if this was supposed to be some sort of seduction. Terran males had such elaborate methods of making their interest in someone they desired to court known. Very few knew how to simply... ask. Taking a deep breath, she finally reached up and pressed the panel on the door. The doors hissed open, and the half-Romulan stepped inside.
It was significantly darker inside. She could see a dim light up ahead, and in the distance... some sort of noise. It was faint. She couldn't determine if it was people talking... or rain. "Hello?" she called out into the silence. There wasn't an immediate response. She then began to wonder if the bartender had far more sinister intentions. "Mr. Hargreaves?" she said once more. Again... there was nothing. With each passing moment, Aurora began to believe that it was likely better to take her leave sooner rather than later.
