Contessa's eyes were on fire as she stared down the guards as they blabbed. They burned into one after another before they managed to figure something out. She'd meant it that they would regret not satisfying her demands.
"We were told he was in trouble,"
She scoffed.
"No."
"No?"
"Hel-ping."
"See? Does this man not look like he doesn't have more experience doing your job than all your years combined?" It was supposed to be a compliment, truly it was.
"We have multiple accessibility devices available. Had you informed us of your need prior to arrival, we would have provided a room that-"
"G'way!"
"Sorry?"
"Tessa... tell them to leave. Please?"
Contessa decided to be the hand that Victor was waving, getting close to the security guards. She gave a smirk to S'rah, letting her know that everything was going to be well handled.
"The only thing troubling him is a broken heart and a handful of buffoons breaking his bloody door down. The man wants one day to bask in the sunshine of his love and all he gets is one interruption after another." The irony of her own words flew right over her curled head. "He told you to go away, and now I'm telling you. Go. Away. Oh, and leave the phasers where they are."
"Hi!"
The girl's eyes cut to Tegan, nearly slicing her in half with her glare.
"I can just leave..."
"If you're as smart as people say you are, maybe you will." There was no order in her words, just a crude attitude. The ire did eventually submit to Tegan's glow.
"Actually," she held up a finger, "relieve the lady cowering behind you with the commbadges of her wares and come on in. We could really use someone with your intelligence and, well, celebrity."
She shooed the security staff away like they had been nothing more than meddlesome younger cousins.
"Do something with those commbadges. Something, I don't know, more inventive than anything you've done before. Something to help us figure things out."
The woman smiled at everyone in the room, proud of her people skills.
