Odd stories were filtering in through the grapevine, tales of Darby's wish fulfillment and how it affected the crew. He was sure there were some incidents that would never be told, but he documented the ones he heard into its own special file on his computer. While everyone was back to the way they were, he was sure there would be an emotional component that could change crew dynamics.
Whull, the Bacohl leader, had briefed him early in the morning about the state of the ship when they had found it. Leaving some of his best workers on the Talon, Whull departed back to the Void on his own ship, but only after dropping a bombshell.
Kealan would deal with that in due time, but he was more concerned with another matter. An alarming trend had been noticed, one that Kealan needed to address. Thus, he sent message to the crew, via their PADDs.
Hitting 'send', he sighed and leaned his chin on his cupped hand, elbow on his desk. There was so much work to be done. The good thing was that the ship had not exploded in their absence. The Bacohl, having learned of the Talon's outlaw status, had folded space and tracked them down, only to find the ship empty and about to go critical. The ship was infested with Vot, but not malignantly as the Bacohl had encountered them before. They were...helping.
"What next, what next," Kealan muttered as he brought up report after report. There were so many of the crew he wanted to speak with, but the condition of the ship came first.

"It has come to my attention that there is a lack of communication at all levels, and that ends now. If the ship is in trouble, I need to know. If there is a threat to the crew, I need to know. I cannot make decisions for your safety if I, and Commander Jeven, are kept out of the loop. If you are too busy to inform your superior, delegate someone else to make the call. This is basic Academy training. Future failure to keep me informed will result in swift action."
