"Don't say it if you don't mean it 'cause I'm not in the business of backing out of promises."
The Bajoran gave a chuckle. “Okay, maybe not the end of the tunnel... knock some sense into me without sending me to the Temple, okay?” he stated, moving another rod over, creating a kind of concave circle… nicely ordered, but the game ended when he got the right shape.
"I know you probably didn't mean it this way but if you want anyone to trust you, you gotta be able to rely on yourself. You like to talk a lot, but most people only care about what you do. Not that you can't do both, just that one matters more than the other."
Nevir stopped, turning and looking at Micah with a slightly confused look on his face. “Talk… talk… maybe you’re right. No, not maybe. I know you’re right.” He said, moving another rod. The shape seemed to become more cube-like.
"Some people really suck at that part, but you'll be alright."
Nevir noticeably moved at the pats, but he gave a smile instead to Micah. “Work long enough with theories and experiments; and talking is second nature. I was getting no where with her until I just... shut my mouth.” He said, nodding in agreement.
He picked up a rod from the far side and put it in a location he hadn’t thought of, and suddenly the entire thing fused together in the perfect tetrahedron shape. He hadn’t been paying attention or even thinking much of where things went, just going with what felt like it fit. What felt… logical.
“Less thinking, more doing… and something to show for it.” He said with a smirk, gesturing at the completed puzzle. “Don’t ask me how I did it, I couldn’t tell you.”
