"This isn't going to be easy..."
"We can do it," Hrax replied, trying to give her hope.
"Sure... but I think that's going to be the easier part."
Which was why he had given it to her.
Science is absolutely chaotic... different people are asking for the same thing on lines 4 and 11. And there are at least 3 below that asking for computer allocations.. but that's not our department."
"No one stay mad at a Bolian for long," he smiled at her.
"Let's go to the alcove near the warp core... I'll need your access to look at what's been altered to compile a full list. If that's okay with you, Ensign."
"Sounds good," he said as he followed her. It wasn't often he got to walk behind someone with a tail.
"What was that about? Back there?"
"That?" He sighed. "I think we're all on edge. For a moment, it sounded like... I took it to mean... that I was responsible for losing some of the crew. Sorry."

“I don’t think we’re planning to take the ship into any atmospheres, but I think I understand."
"When you are on the run, plans do not often go as you would like," Chixxt said to Cobus.
"We can avoid making jumps between pressure gradients.”
Nodding, the Bacohl was happy that Rok was beginning to understand the risks.
“What about gravity wells? How careful do I need to be.”
"You have to stay sharp, be ready to compensate at a moment's notice, perhaps even slip back to where you had started. This tech is not for the lazy or slow." He lead Cobus over to one of the consoles and booted up a 'sandbox' program. "We have already loaded all of the known spacial anomalies into your system, so you will not be starting blind. It is recommended that you take paths already traveled by us until you are more adept at the systems and corrections needed."
His large fingers tapped delicately on the screen. "Try not to enter areas known to be high traffic, obviously."
A few more taps and he stepped aside. "This is a training module. It will correct you in real time, and report further about your mistakes when you have completed each step. Do not be discouraged. It is a difficult concept. Perhaps too complex for you." Patting the seat, he waited.
