Upon the arrival to Etimon, Kinin had taken the security watch on the Bridge. Sensors were on full sweep, watching for any trouble from the Mehtak or any other creature that may want to stir up trouble. When they left the wormhole, she made sure that none of those aliens were following them, but they seemed content to observe the Ferengi ship's activities as they began putting up a beacon that the beings could trigger before going into the wormhole; a warning to all ships not to enter. Also, the USS Nike was investigating why the Talon's shields had gone down inside of the wormhole, so they were popping in and out from time to time.
Before the Talon had left, the Nike had transferred some new crew and taken on those who needed extended leave after what had happened, transferring them to DS9.
The officer at ops was startled to hear Kinin humming from her station. The Klingon seemed to be in an exceptionally good mood this afternoon.
All they could do was wait. Soon, Dorian would go down to the planet with Etheron, they would finalize the treaty, and then they could all leave and get back on their mission. Kinin was looking forward to seeing Stetson and relieving herself of his mantle of duty.
"I'm picking up something," the communications officer said. "It's very faint." Kinin was instantly alert and she tapped her panel. "Sir," she said. "You might want to see this." He was in the briefing room, probably needing some quiet time to go over all of the incident and progress reports from the previous day.
