When she left the Counselor's office Tiria checked her messages and found that Sig had messaged her a couple of times asking how she was doing. She wasn't quiite certain she really wanted to tell him about her visit to the Counselor at the moment but perhaps later when she saw him face to face.
So, instead she sent a quick message that she was fine and went to the kitchen to see to the dinner preparations. She shook her head at the amount of bacon still needing to be used and instead of incorporating it into any new dishes she rendered more than half of it into bacon paste to store for later use. Crumbling the rest she bottled it and put that part into cold storage for condiments.
Then she had the chef's prepare several things for dinner that did not include bacon in any way. The sigh's of relief rising from the crew made her chuckle.
She got a bit tired earlier than she normally would have and made some dinner for Sig and herself. Steaks, on the rare side, a steamed combination of red potatoes and green beans. She wasn't at all sure he wouldn't pick out the beans but it was worth a try. As a backup she made a vegetable juice that tasted more of berries than it did of vegetables. She had several pitchers of it added to the buffet labeled 'Fresh Berry Juice' for those who were vegetable challenged.
The dessert was simple vanilla ice cream that he wouldn't be able to tell was a diet concoction. She even had some berries and maple syrup to pour on top to help with enhance the decadence factor.
She hefted the tray and said her good nights before she took off to their quarters. She didn't see him immediately when she walked in so she took the tray into the small kitchen and pulled the small stasis covers. Setting the food on the table she called out.
"Sig, dinner is ready."
She poured the chilled juice into ice filled glasses. Then she poured him a cup of his beloved coffee... *shudder* and replicated her own cup of Fridd*.
"Sig?"

*An Andorian equivalent to tea is Fridd, which is often served ice-cold; you drink it as it thaws.
