Sighing she leaned her arm flat on the table and laid her head down on it, she needed a moment to think. There was something going on, something strange, something very wrong and she couldn't work it out. Eilidh had missed something, something very important and she was starting to get frustrated with herself or she was starting to get tired which was more than likely the real explanation, an adrenaline come down was always exhausting. She felt as if someone had gone and zapped energy from her, which was perfectly normal, she just had to ride the downwards wave she knew that already – didn't mean she had to be happy about it.
"Excitement," he said, sitting down beside Eilidh. "You both ok?"
She almost snorted a laugh but managed to stop herself and give a nod and refused to sit up from her resting point, instead she just let her eyes wonder around the camp. There were people running around, celebrating and doing what ever it was they were doing. It was nice in a strange way, these people with their happy tangled lives, they looked like they were in no hurry to figure things out, they let themselves drift through life on this little village and there was something about that which captured her attention. Everyone spent far too long running around, if they just stopped and took a good look you started to notice things, after all she had been a wall flower for so long she had got used to picking out things from observation.
It was a skill that you earned, if anything it was her little warning system...or it had been...there really was no need for it these days but you didn't stop doing it just out of habit. She hummed to herself, this soft melodic tune, a sign that she was thinking hard and not just skivving off doing any kind of work. Her head was running wild, she could think of two theories, either the woman knew where the crew was....and she had been keeping their secrete or she was part of the crew. Eilidh wasn't sure which one to go with or if she was even anywhere right but it wasn't like the federation symbol was an easy one to just think up.
Sitting up she pointed it out to Julian without saying a work and doing her best to not draw anyone else's attention to it, “either, the crew are under our noses or someone knows where they are.” She explained quietly...at least she was good at being subtle sometimes.
