"They have returned to the station to the apartments."
So both the Governor and Lin had gone down, and returned shortly after. Jonathan dismissed his thoughts on that matter quickly enough to concentrate on the present. His face was passive as he heard Gavum's less than ethustiastic comment concerning the sensor issues.
"Oh I wouldn't say they were mindless," Jon replied, "A month long problem doesn't happen along very often." However Jon did somewhat agree with the man on some sentiment, the very fact they've been trying to find the answer to this sensor problem for a quite a while. It could very well be mindless, unless it was minded to look like that. A trap, a decoy...
"Even the readings from the Talon report nothing of note before they changed heading to Maeri,"
That was even more concerning, the Talon had gone quite far out, no luck here or there along with some of the other vessels. Again he couldn't shake that suspicious feeling they were simply walking into a trap, spreading their forces a little too much. Not to mention the very nature of Talon's current mission, though the only thing he really knew about it was the name, Mehtak, and that meant trouble.
As Jon walked over to one of the consoles, he frowned slightly at the sensor readout. "What's that ship doing there?" He asked frowning, hadn't anyone noticed? They must have, so it must not be a cause for concern. Then again, judging from the look of it, the thing wouldn't be much of a threat.
There was also the matter of Etheron, there wasn't much he could do though... "Someone forward a message to flight ops and the transporter room, tell them to keep an extra eye on who goes up and down today." It was a command that would be recieved with suspicion, but he was sure everyone would find out soon enough. He wasn't going to tell them unless it was prudent and the less people knew right now, the better, especially with what happened with Ahska.
At this moment in time, Jonathan very much regretted not going down to Etimon or even meeting their leader.
