Graces eyes were on the screen when Dr. Diego happened to ask Kinin how she was feeling, and if she'd been taking it easy. Grace's eyes moved from the screen to look at both doctor and patient. It seemed Kinin had decided to establish the norm: that Klingons didn't take it easy. Grace couldn't argue with the ideal. Klingons were a proud people, and they respected strength. If that meant pushing yourself physically, that's what they would do. To convince a Klingon to do anything other than that would likely take the manipulations of a Q.
Grace's eyes returned to the screen as the image of the fetus came into view. As she smiled, she looked towards Kinin to gauge the Klingon's reaction. As the Klingon studied the image, Grace could tell that Kinin wasn't interested in displaying those maternal emotions. She attempted to remain as stoic as she could. Grace's eyes turned back to the screen just in time for Kinin to ask if it was possible to see the child's face. "We can try," said Grace.
She could only assume that Kinin was curious which parents' traits would appear dominant. If her full Klingon attributes would be prevalent, or the Captain's. Grace moved the sensor to the side, attempting to keep the child in view as she moved. She then noticed Kinin reach out, her fingers gently touching the screen. Grace didn't say anything about the gesture, but she did think it was beautiful, to see the Klingon bonding with the image of her child. It certainly wasn't something that Grace would point out.
"It doesn't appear that it's going to be easy," Grace confessed. She continued to move the sensor, and finally paused a moment. "Lift your arm a bit." She waited for the Klingon to comply. "Let' see what we have here...." Her eyes turned to the screen to see if she'd gotten a better vantage point.
