Keira had some time to kill before the bar was open in the Mess Hall, so she decided to spend that time in the Holodeck. It was always a favorite past time of her's to play recreational gladiator-type games in order to both stay in shape and just for sport. It never ceased to amaze her the technological advances a lot of cultures made over the centuries, looking back to almost five hundred years ago she knew first hand that holotechnology wasn't even a conceivable dream on Earth, let alone most other races in the Alpha Quadrant with the possible exception of the Xyrillians. She finally entered an unoccupied holodeck chamber with a recreational sports bottle of water and a towel wearing basic sweat pants and a t-shirt.
"Computer, activate holoprogram: Tron Game Grid Beta-Three" she said aloud.

"Surprise me," Keira told the computer.
Within seconds her clothes changed from her sweats to a tactical leather body suit with white illuminated piping. Her surroundings changed into a gladiatorial arena with hundreds of thousands of spectators cheering in the stands. The arena itself was encased in digital glass and her opponent appeared before her in his own suit with orange illuminated piping. They then reached behind their backs and pulled out their light discs, the only difference being that while Keira had one her opponent, Rinzler, had two. Suddenly the music began and the computer selected "Breathe" by Prodigy to fit the mood.
"That's what I'm talking about." Keira smiled at the music choice. She remembered dancing to that song in a club back in late twentieth century Earth.

Rinzler was like lightning banking left, then right, to try to throw her off before sending one of his light discs aiming directly toward her head. Keira dodged the throw with a side-wheel to her right and the disc went flying past her head by inches. It ricocheted off the digital glass and went flying right back towards her. She parried the light disc, sending it back his direction while throwing her's at a projected angle. Rinzler dodged her disc effortlessly and returned fire, but he landed in the direction she wanted him too, so when her own disc flew past him it ricocheted off the digital glass and straight for where he stood.
Rinzler anticipated this, and without looking performed a handless backflip to dodge her disc. Keira caught her disc in mid-air, just narrowly missing one of Rinzler's as it whizzed past her shoulder, and rapidly sent it at another angle to ricochet off the walls. It narrowly missed him and shattered one of the floor plates on his side, before ricocheting back to her. Before Rinzler could return fire the digital chime sounded, indicting that gravity was about to be reversed. They took that next few seconds to turn their backs on one another and began running towards their respective back walls.
She could feel the second gravity took a complete 180 degree turn and down became up. But by then they were both running along what was the ceiling and heading towards each other. Rinzler shot a light disc her way and she parried, attempting to come in close, then she struck out towards him in an attempt to swipe him with her disc. He banked left then right in an effort to avoid being hit but wasn't watching his leg work. She feigned a swipe, but ducked down with a leg sweep to knock him off balance. Rinzler fell for it and went down but he knew how to fall to minimize the impact, so when Keira came up on top of him to tag him with her disc, he managed to block it with one of his own.
The chime sounded again but they were locked in combat, so before they could look down gravity reversed again and they went falling back down. Before they hit the floor Keira sent her disc flying to one of the floor plates just under Rinzler, and kicked off to the side. So when they landed, she landed on a knee on an intact floor plate while the one under Rinzler shattered and he fell through. The crowd roared with cheers and applause.
