"Yes Sir. I am sure they would. It was just a habit. I will try to keep it under wraps; I must remember that I am an Engineer and not a research specialist."
Adam paused for a second. There was no point in his career where he thought he was a warp core specialist and not a supply assistant. Well, he had imagined being with the warp core specialist, but not actually doing her job.
"I am sure this will do me some good."
Oh boy was this awkward.
"I'm sure it will."
Adam was more than a little involved getting up off of the lunar surface to comment in his mind about Cobus' remark, but once he was on his feet and the maglocks were secure, he walked over to where Cobus was...bouncing. Grinning through his helmet at the man, he had to squeeze his legs together so that he didn't mimic the bouncing.
"Conduit here, sir."
He turned and saw Georgia pulling the cable toward the pair. "Let me help," he said to her. Having already accidentally tested the decreased gravity, he knew just the amount of spring he could attempt. With a small chuckle, he jumped and landed next to Georgia.
"I wouldn't much fancy doing this with a standard 9.807 metres per second per second."
His smile faltered somewhat, then he laughed even though he had no idea what she had said. From all looks at her through the helmet, it did appear as if she had just made some sort of joke. At least he hoped so. It would really suck if he had just laughed at her solving some mathematical problem. Grabbing the conduit, he helped snake it over the uneven terrain.
