One moment Athena Shaw had been walking along a corridor with the nice young medic helping her along, the next she found herself falling to one side and she began to lose her balance. The medic had vanished and she was leaning against the wall of a room she didn't recognise. "What the...?" She slowly slid herself down to floor feeling that was a much safer place for her, placing her two padds on the floor beside her. “I'm pretty sure this isn't sickbay.” She said to herself as she looked around, but couldn't see anyone else in the room.
“You have all been found guilty.”
As quick as her reactions would allow in her current physical condition, Ensign Shaw whipped out the phaser from it's holster on her hip and started pointing it around the room. Her eyes scanned the room for the source of the voice but still she couldn't see anyone. “Who's there!?” Athena called out. “Show yourself!”
“I will allow you to choose the manner of your death.”
The young woman began randomly firing her phaser around the empty room in the hopes of hitting whoever it was that was talking. After taking a few breaths to calm herself down she lowered her weapon. The voice had stopped and still Athena was alone. There had been no thuds to indicate anyone had been hit by her phaser fire. “Oh, great... Now I'm hallucinating!” She sighed and brought a hand up to her head, feeling the slight lump from the bump. “I must've hit my head harder than I thought.” She sighed again and replaced her weapon back in it's holster for safe keeping.
Athena then brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, resting her head on her forearms and closed her eyes. The darkness was a comfort to her headache. Now all she needed to do was to snap out of this hallucination. Exactly how long that would take would be anyone's guess though.
