“The actions I am taking are under orders by Captain Monroe. I cannot provide any more explanation than that. I need your cooperation. I understand how confusing and frustrating this feels. I promise the moment I can provide you with answers, that I will.”
It certainly hadn't been the answer that he had been hoping for, but it was an answer nonetheless. B'ranon Loch had hoped to learn more, but what he had learned was that the Captain had ordered this. Up to this point, Lt. Commander Jenison had been fairly cordial and there didn't seem to be any sign of mistreatment (not that he expected it.) Not wishing things to descend into anything less, B'ranon moved towards the cell obediently.
Besides, he had also overheard the Captain's voice in his communique to Ensign Haywood, and his tone seemed to indicate some sort of urgency. He looked out at the others that were being asked to join him in the cell: Lt. Commander Kinin (only time would tell if she would abide the Captain's wishes), Mr. Landry (which proved that Lt. Jenison wasn't displaying any bias), Tahp and a pair of Cadets (among them Nevir.) And then there was also Doctor Viaen whom... still seemed rather colorful with her protest.
"Cadets? Tahp?" Loch said from within the cell hoping to get the attention of the younger ones. "You heard her. Captain's orders." He raised his hand slightly, motioning for them to venture inside the cell, hoping that they would trust the chain of command... that they would trust the Captain. After all, he hadn't betrayed their faith in him yet.
