Character's Name: Michael Searos
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Physical Profile (height, build, weight, hair colour, eye colour, skin tone, race, etc.): Michael stands at 6”1 with a light muscular frame with short brown hair that hardly ever passes over his forehead and his eyes are a deep hazel green.
Birthplace: Caldos 2
Preferred rank: Lieutenant
Department: OPS - Supply Chief (Quartermaster) (3IC)
Personality:
Push! The word that is probably the most said word during a birth. The word certainly reached the ears of Michael whilst he was being born and he probably heard ‘why?’ which added an extra letter, ‘y’. Searon tends to be a bit pushy, always talking, always asking, always doing something with his body and usually that was his mouth which has transformed him into a very talkative and quite active individual.
Searon is probably not the most favorable friend to have at your side in a bad situation but if there is one thing he can do, is be a loyal friend. He loves friends; he would part with almost anything to keep with his friends or save a friend, maybe not by humiliation but if he included life or death, he would be there to help or die trying.
Background and History:
Michael was born on Caldos 2 and lived within a popular family. His father was one of the leading engineers of the Weather Control station and his mother was an incredibly kind hearted doctor and from a young age Michael was as spoiled as any kid could get. Everything he wanted (almost) he got but as soon as he was 7, the cheeky annoying spoiled kid was pressed into the classes of the finest teachers on Caldos 2.
Michael did not like the fact that he didn’t get his way and even went out of his way to cause trouble but the teachers tolerated it, for the good of Michael to one day see why. As the years progressed Michael became less spoiled and more mature to realize the understanding that not everyone was given everything and they had to learn to make do with what they had.
He now knew why he was spoiled as a young child, so he could learn to the hard way of not always being able to get his own way. Even though he did less to get what he wanted, he did continuously whine and babble on to those that would listen (Unless he hadn’t tied them to a tree to listen).
When he was 15 Michael had learnt his life lesson but still found it hard and made a decision which both impressed and made his parents proud. He had chosen to start a career in engineering, given little to make into something useful, powerful or efficient. Michael learnt a lot from his father in the next three years and even began to daydream about his career.
And so Michael decided that he would expand his knowledge and continue to learn his lesson by joining Starfleet. The first time he tried for the Academy, he failed the entrance exams and had to wait another whole year before trying again, he even considered not even trying but realized that was because he didn’t get what he wanted. Michael studied harder, earned more respect from his peers as a young engineer and before he knew it he was sitting in an Academy class.
Michael graduated at the age of 23 and first served as an engineer onboard a small exploration vessel. He was there for four years before being reassigned to to a long range exploration vessel as an operations officer and a Lieutenant J.G and occasional temporary quartermaster. After two years and a bit he was promoted again and transferred to the USS Zephyr.
He now waits on DS9 for his ship and her crew to get underway (again).
Name of Celebrity: Jensen Ackles
Sample Roleplay:
“And then the guy came back with a ruddy dermal regenerator! Not only was it not supposed to be in his kit but he should what it was and not have given it to me! The idiot!” Michael said to the only person that was willing to listen to his rant of the day after he had been bribed a few free drinks.
Michael didn’t pay attention to the less than interested nod he got back from his friend but he didn’t care, he only cared for what had happened earlier that day. Who put a medical item into an engineering kit?! Michael let out a sigh and took a sip from his drink. His friend took this as a good sign and slowly began to rise to his feet to only be stopped by…
“And guess what he said next?!”
The man slowly sat back down with a sigh of his own as he continued to listen to Michael Searos.
“He said, ‘oh sorry sir, I must of picked up the wrong kit’, the wrong kit! How do you get a wrong kit when they’re all the same or supposed to be! You know if I was dealing with giving equipment around, I would never make a mistake unlike those current idiots that call themselves the ‘Quartermaster’.”
Michael let loose another frustrated sigh but he did not say anything more. He was about to finish his drink when his friend had another go at leaving.
“Hey, did I ever tell you about what happened yesterday with Melinda?”
Sigh.
