Second character for Robin.
Character's Name: Tavuk
Age: 52
Gender: Male
Race: Vulcan
Physical Profile (height, build, weight, hair colour, eye colour, skin tone, race, etc.): 6”4, Strong build, Hazel Eyes, occasional facial hair and (little hair he does have) is dark brown. Has a powerful deep commanding voice, compliments of British birthplace and accent.
Birthplace: Earth, England, Oxford

Personality: Like all Vulcans Tavuk is as logical as the next Vulcan your bound to meet. Whatever the situation, Tavuk is a calm and collected individual and there is little that can bother him. He will say what is needed and that is that. He will not try to satisfy his humanoid colleagues by attempting some humorous comment. He has never tried and he will never will but the thought of doing so has never left him.
However Tavuk’s years with humans have not made him immune to their rubbing abilities which sufficed to say, something has grown onto Tavuk. The desire to try new things and this does not include testing a new form of transporter, gaseous cure but things such as cooking, games, his only perhaps human quality and whereas his human respect is rooted.
Background and History: With the attachment as far as any parent could have with a child on Vulcan, it was a happy and grateful one. His parents were not one to waste the years of their son and therefore at the earliest age of understanding, they began to guide him along road of logic.
By the age of 21 (First Pon Farr) Tavuk had taken a mate by the name of T’relen and had become a father to his newborn son, Talek. After several months of caring for his son, the friend of his friend who was human stopped by his home with a leaving challenge of something new. Starfleet. It was new, it was within his grasp, it was something he could do and he knew it.
With quick succession in getting through the entrance exams and amazing progress of which you would expect from a Vulcan he graduated excelling in science, security and engineering. Now aged 26 with logic still kicking in his satisfied mind he was assigned to a deep-space exploration vessel as a security officer for six years. When the Captain of the vessel died due to unknown reasons Tavuk was transferred to another vessel and assigned as a science officer. The ship acted as a long range listening post (or in this case, ship) for Deep Space 4 whilst patrolling the nearby borders.
After a year on the vessel he was transferred to Deep Space 4 as an engineer for 3 years and then for another 4 years as a security officer. Newly promoted Tavuk was then transferred to a Nebula class science vessel whereas he remained on the ship for 12 years, the first 7 years as an assistant head of Security and then 5 years as assistant head of Science.
On a routine trip back to Earth Tuvak noted the newly commissioned Peregrin. Feeling that the Nebula was too big for him now figured that a smaller ship might be good idea, his curiosity of the intrepid class also contributed to his decision. With a last minute request of transfer to the Peregrin he was accepted and is now apart of a new ship and crew.

Sample Roleplay: The booming laughter of two Starfleet officers filled the lounge of which they had for themselves at this hour. “And then he said…”I’m you?” Hahaha!” The voice belonged to that of a young science officer by the name of Jimmy Trait. Red faced with laughter the young officer smacked his hand onto the table as his laughter continued bounce off the walls of the lounge.
“Good one Jimmy!” Said the familiar voice of Tavuk the Vulcan. The vulcan’s own face was glistening red with all the hard work his muscles were doing to keep laughing. Grinning ear to ear he slapped a hand on the youngster’s shoulder and told his own joke which only lead to more laughter from the two.
Clearing a tear of laughter from his eyes as he looked up Jimmy suddenly felt not so joyful. There standing the lounge door was a blue division uniform…”Lieutenant! Uh… uh what are you doing here?”
The man looked neither angry nor frustrated; in fact his expression was completely blank. “Computer…” A beep responded to the very familiar commanding voice. “End Program.” In the next second, Tavuk who had also gone silent at the arrival of the officer suddenly dematerialized along with his chair, table and soon the entire lounge dissolved into the usual holographic grid of the holodeck.
The pointed eared officer stood silent watching his junior officer stand up, stutter, blush and everything else that humans did when being nervous. Long seconds passed and still the officer made no reply to Jimmy’s original question, then again he hadn’t even moved an inch after speaking to the computer.
Finally after what seemed to be last second Jimmy could survive of the silence did the man finally speak. “I came to say goodbye to you, Ensign.” Jimmy nodded weakly with the expression that mirrored “I thought as much”. Again the man fell silent until it was Jimmy who decided to speak again not only so he could actually listen and hear something but to explain.
“I was just…” The young man sighed which erected a raised eyebrow from the older man. “…I knew you were going away and like I said…I just wanted to see you actually smile or laugh for once so I uh came up with this idea.”
The eyebrow went higher and this time the older man looked on the verge of releasing an emotion but no expression came. The man stepped towards Jimmy slowly, silently and then stopped shortly before him and clasping his hands together and behind his back.
“You are a curious human.” The man said as if this was the first time they had met. “I thank you for your unique companionship for the past 10 years Ensign.” Jimmy didn’t know how to respond to that but decided to take it as a good sign, he remained silent but he gave a little nod to the man to show he had heard.
Expression still blank on his face, the man separated his hands and raised one towards Jimmy, his fingers together until they split creating a v shape gap between the middle of his fingers.
“Live long and prosper.”
Both men nodded to each other and after dropping his hand down to his side, the man turned and neared the holodeck door. Tavuk left.
