A roar sounded from within Ruune's quarters as he lobbed a hyrospanner at the wall, what had he done?! Ruune closed his eyes, breathing deeply. Of course it wasn't really all Vlad's fault, how the man had been able to disable his armour was a mystery but that damage was near enough repairable but whatever he had done and somehow given the armour its final rest from everything its been through. Ruune opened his eyes, suspecting that the real issue actually was from the lack of care during Ruune's time in the pod, he had been slipping in and out of conciousness throughout the ride, unable to make any coherent sense of the buttons around him.
Bending his knees, Ruune scooped up his helmet with and carried it with him to the window and stared through the slots that was usually taken up by his eyes. All he saw was darkness, not even the blink of a light, or any glitter of light reflected from the metal inside. The thought had occured to him that he could still wear it if he finished fixing the more physical damages and hinges but it would not be the same. He would be walking in a dead skin, not being able to feel the strength that had carried him to this point, perhaps he did not need it? Now that was a question that he could not answer, his eyes looked up to the stars, as if he was guaging what they could be saying to him.
There was nothing.
Ruune glanced at the mess on the floor that was the bits and pieces of his suit before making his way over to the table, still holding the helmet he dipped his fingers into one of the many small pots silver pots of paint. He would have prefered to have made his own, but for now he would have to replicate most things. There was still meaning in the physical, it just wasn't complete without the mind.
The paint colours were normally white, red and green but for this Ruune had created a pot for black. Lifting his helmet up he swiped one finger across the far left ridge, and then repeated the motion for the opposite side with a different finger. Placing the helmet on the table Ruune walked by it to wall and stretched with his arm to the top of the wall and wiped the rest of the paint in a long lined motion.
Stepping back Ruune returned to the table and picked up the PADD that was there as well, it displayed the logs they had been able to recover from the pod. A lot of it had been damaged somehow and the rest had been very difficult to decipher. He had refused aid from the Federation personnel, this was his own issue and he will find his answers.
