After leaving the Mess Hall, Jorrak requested permission to access the pod in the cargo bay. After receiving permission, he went to the cargo bay where he saw it.
"Computer, lower force field please." Once it had lowered, he stepped through and moved over to the hatch and located the panel. "Computer, raise the force field again." It went back up behind him. "Thank you Computer."
He moved over the panel, looking at the characters, trying to see the order behind the design. After a moment, he brought his PADD up and started going over what he could of the data Commander Sur'Shess and Lieutenant Rell had gathered so that he could make more sense of it. After reading, he had little more to work with, but he had a somewhat better idea of the panel's layout.
He attempted to turn on the computer. It flickered for a moment and he saw an interface in the same language as the panel, as he expected, however, just as it started to flicker again and power down, he saw waht looked to be a bar meter, depicting various levels on the side. In that brief second, he saw four indicators on the side of the long black bar, possibly depicting the levels of power.
After it had completely shut down, he tried to boot it up again, and, after another glance, he noticed a red sliver at the bottom of the bar, also possibly indicating the amount of power left. It started to flicker again, and then it once again went offline. He pulled out his Tri-Corder and began scanning the panel. After a moment, the readout suggested that it's power was indeed nearly depleted.
He put his Tri-Corder away, crawled out of the pod and went back onto the other side of the field and tapped his comm-badge. "Lieutenant Joraak to the Bridge. After an examination of the pod, I have determined that its power supply is very nearly depleted, most likely at less than a fraction of a percent. I request permission to have an engineer help determine the type of power the pod uses, and if possible, recharge it."
He began entering the little data he was able to gather and put it into his PADD for reference.
