"Well, that all depends on what level you speak of. At the cellular level, cells do replicate. We would not exist if that did not happen. So, in a way, we are. It's just a more complex process than asking a replicator to replicate a cheeseburger with fries on the side," he said and scratched his chin. "Does one have to be more superior than the other?"
"I've climbed aboard a ship of Philosophers, it would seem. Superiority is a matter of relativity. I can move, it can't. As thus, I am superior... However, I certainly can't make a cheeseburger and fries if I -tried-. Guess it takes that one, doesn't it?" He gave a soft chuckle, "Though, if I tried, I'd end up with about the same quality," he added, with an air of distaste, "but it does in a pinch. And it's hard to ruin sweet tea."
"We have indeed come aboard a ship of philosphers, Mr. Varren." Taniya said. "And now that we have resolved the problem of who is superior- the human, according to Mr. Varren- we can all rest easily." she concluded with a saucy grin.
Did you grow up on Luna, Miss Taniya?
"Yes, I grew up on Luna." Taniya said, taking another sip of water. "It's quite dull actually. And smaller than it looks from earth." Taniya smiled softly as her mind went back to several misadventures related to schemes that were made in childish innocence for reaching the blue marble that gleamed so brightly and looked so close. Her friends' and she had had many such plans- many had seemed quite straightforward, but most weren't feasible. The joy of innocence, she supposed.
