After a month on board the station, Robert had concluded that he had made a good decision, nothing bad had happened. He hadn't saw any of the men from Quarks since, or any possible representatives they might have. He had enjoyed his time on the station for the most part, the aliens of the planet they orbitted were a pretty interesting bunch. He had to admit he was somewhat jealous that he wasn't wearing a Starfleet uniform again, just so he could get a better understanding of the people and get where civlians couldn't go.
Robert shook his head, you wouldn't catch him in a starfleet uniform these days. Just another organisation ruled by people with power, and a freedom to do what they wanted because they said so. And so many little restrictions.
Looking around his little office, his eyes stopped briefly on his safe. From what he could tell it was far more secure than the one that Quark had owned. The memory of the place moved his focus to that of a framed old piece of parchment. The map. It really was of no use to anyone now, it was more of a reminder of what happened and whom had died.
Robert sighed, he had to admit, he really did admire that woman. They didn't make them like that anymore. All those naive girls on the Federation starships, they weren't necessearily easy, they just hadn't held that much interest for him, personally.
"Boss!" Someone shouted from the other side of the door, knocking on it. Robert was still getting used to being called that, he had hardly been the owner of Quarks for long before moving here, a much bigger and more important place. Standing from his chair he made his exit of the office and answering one of the worker's queries.
After that Robert made his way into the bar, it was rather quiet for the morning. He served a few people coming, something nice and easy to start day off with. One person kept eyeing the table games area, Robert smirked knowing the guy was probably checking to see when one of the dabo girls would arrive. He had made it so there wasn't any during the morning, he considered it a successful business move there.
