"I don't blame you, at this point I'm just as suspicious and with everyone leaving it's... it's just stupid."
Siobhan nodded in agreement with Robin's statement. It sounded like things were just getting silly on board the Talon and she wondered how many crewmen would be leaving the station for similar reasons. At least now she had decided what to do about her own pearl, as bringing it to the attention of the stations intelligence officer seemed like the best course of action. Things on Etimon were strained enough right now without the repercussions of a Starfleet officer 'jumping the gun', as it were.
"I can't believe M'Khol left... I was with him when he decided,"
At Robin's next comment, she again nodded. She didn't know who the M'Khol person was, but he was obviously a close friend and/or colleague of some sort. The helmsman was undeniably devastated by the mans departure and her heart went out to him. It wasn't easy to lose someone you cared about, no matter the circumstances or the chances of meeting again, and her heart went out to him
"Pardon me. I must make my exit."
Siobhan said her goodbyes as the elderly officer disappeared off into the depths of the botany bay. She felt a little guilty for keeping him from his duties, but she did feel much better for talking with him. Robin too, although she wondered if she was keeping him from something as well. Then again, he wouldn't have spread himself out on the grass like he had if that were the case.
"So uh, how old is little Ricky?"
"A year old today", she exclaimed proudly as Ricky gave the man a quizzical look. He said nothing but couldn't help but wonder who this stranger was. He gave another cry, and Siobhan knew that it was probably time to put him back to bed. Apart from that, if she didn't get back soon she'd have a quarters full of people and nothing to entertain them with! There was nothing worse than children being bored at a party, and so she made the slightly reluctant decision to head back.
Standing and placing Ricky back in his stroller, she turned to Robin with a smile.
"I'm afraid I need to get going, but it was really nice meeting you Robin. Take care!"
End Siobhan, if appropriate
