Siobhan sighed as she took a seat and closed her eyes. She had always loved gardens and this one in particular was well kept and had just had the right combination of plants and the like to be a peaceful and relaxing place. In fact, it was her favourite place to come and just think. Not many people came by this way and those that did were often too busy to worry about a lone engineer.
A small gurgle from beside her reminded the irish woman that in fact she was not alone as Ricky slept peacefully in his stroller, turning slightly as he did so. She probably wouldn't have too much time to enjoy the peace before he awoke. It would be time to return to duty soon anyway, but the vision she had experienced upon touching the pearl withing the Aquiran oyster still plagued her thoughts. She knew that she should act on what she had seen, but how? How did she even know that there was something to be done anyway? For all she knew, this could have been a vision from the past or even from a distant future. She had no idea how the pearls worked so anything was possible.
She sighed as she opened her eyes again, unable to fully relax as she usually could in this place. It was times like this that she really missed Chance, who was not only her husband but also her best friends and confidant. She didn't know who else she could turn to either as she realised that she couldn't even recall the name of the chief counselor on this station. Even if she could, what exactly would they be able to do about it anyway? One thing was certain though, as she lay back into the bench, this was really starting to tick her off!
