//"One moment, Lieutenant. Would Myrlaa's assistance be required for the monkeys, Tazer or the Etimonian on board the Phoenix?"//
"How th' hell does he-"
Braddock sighed at the mention of the Etimonian. Her eyes turned to Tazer. She could see he didn't approve of Richards' desire to look into the matter more than Tazer thought necessary. Tazer had wanted to keep this quiet, but it wasn't going to happen. Not without making some key people aware. After all, the main person they didn't want are of the Etimonian girl's presence was Esohn. Hopefully, he was in the Captain's office and still out of earshot.
"Do you want something else to drink. Let's go back to the kitchen. You should probably eat something, too."
It was odd to see this caring side of Tazer. She was certain that he was more of a skirt chaser than a bureaucrat. However, dealing with the Etimonian girl, she was seeing a side of him she never would have known to exist. It was actually unsettling and comforting at the same time.
She took a deep breath and prepared to do her best to salvage the situation and mention as little as possible regarding the Etimonian girl. Hopefully Jon would pick up on the level of discretion she was exercising. "Commander Myrlaa's presence is requested by the Governor," she stated. "As for the monkeys, while they do display intelligence." A smirk came across her face as she looked at Tazer and couldn't help but recall one of the creatures flinging its own feces at the Governor. "However, there is no obvious means of communication between themselves or with us. They were merely acting out of instinct."
She paused a moment before going on. "Commander, I can't express the level of discretion we should exercise... at least not over the comm." She waited for the Executive Officer to respond, hopefully, with word that Myrlaa was on his way.
