//"This is the Captain speaking. I want everyone back on board by 1100 hours. We'll be leaving the station at 1300. Monroe, out."//
Luis sipped on his second cup of coffee when he heard the message sent on his commbadge. After a steamy night of non-virtuous abandonment she had gotten up the next morning and made her lover breakfast.
"Does that mean you have to leave?" Brandy asked him.
"Unfortunately yes," he smiled at her across a plate of scramble eggs, hash browns and bacon strips. "I have to meet my new captain and we're probably heading out after that.
Brandy looked down, a disappointed smirk across her face. Luis thought it made her look cute, the way she acted like she was sorry he was leaving. Wait, maybe she was disappointed. Could this girl think there was more to them than a night together?
Lord, she was a beauty with all the accouterments he liked. Plus she was sweet and flattering to his ego, attentive to his desires and eager to please.
She was the one that had approached him and flirted. Of Course her almost not there uniform she wore when she worked the games tables at the Pi in the Sky helped to seal the deal, so to speak.
"I wished I could go with you," she stated flatly, looking at him through long eyelashes. "But I guess they don't have games girls on starships, huh?" she rested her chin in her hand as she sighed heavily. Again he smiled at her.
"No, there's no place for a games girl on a starship," he chuckled. "Ever thought of applying for a civilian job with Starfleet?" he asked her. "There's several places where civilians work. You could work in the kitchen or as a hostess in the lounge or as a teacher. For that last one you might need a degree. There several things civilians can do," he tried to be encouraging.
"Hmmm," she thought for a moment. "I'd better stay where I am. I like working for Mr. MacDonald. He's a really nice guy. Just drop me a line now and then, would you?"
"Yes, I will," he promised. "Listen, I'd better take a shower and get dressed and then head on. The breakfast was delicious."
She gave him a smile and a nod as he got up. Why was he feeling so guilty about leaving? He felt like he had taken advantage of her and the situation but how can you take advantage of someone who is willing and even aggressive the way she was? Having a woman take the initiative was alright sometimes but he was more into the demure type of woman. But Brandy was both rolled into one. Damn, what a predicament.
When he got out of the sonic shower he found her in her big bed with nothing on but the sheet and a come hither smile. It took no words for him to get her message loud and clear.
Afterwards, as Brandy slept, he quickly dressed and replicated a red rose in a clear bud vase and sat it on the bedside table then slipped out the door.
