The doctor stepped out of the turbolift and was greeted by an eerie sight: the entire bridge crew was "unconscious". Some of them were still seated at their stations, arms dangling at their sides or still on the controls, others appeared to have fallen from their chairs or had simply crumpled to the floor where they stood. The red alert blared in the background, wanting hopelessly for acknowledgment.
"Roshan to Commander Ericson. I'm on the bridge. Everyone appears to be unconscious. Attempting to revive the Captain momentarily," she said sounding slightly winded from her little sprint to the bridge as she quickly made her way over toward Kealan.
The Captain was in his chair, mostly. His torso leaned heavily on the armrest and it looked like a strong wind might've been enough to tip him over. He had one of those manly physiques: all shoulders and tiny hips, which made his current position especially precarious. Nila crouched down next to the Captain's chair and opened her field kit, pulling out two hyposprays. First she checked his pulse and respiration, pleased to find that he too was very much alive.
She set the drug and dosage as per Sig's instructions. Pressing the first hypospray to the Captain's neck, she rested two fingers lightly against his carotid and watched his chest expand with each breath. When appropriate, she applied the second hypospray.
She hoped that everyone would be considerate and wake up quickly and without incident. How many people were on this ship? 800 and something? She tried to think if there was some way to aerosolize this process, because it was going to take forever. All she really wanted to do was curl up with tacos and a syntheholic margarita.
