He was so excited. This wasn't his forte, chemistry was more his thing, but Lt JG Rob Wentworth thought he knew what was going on. They had all been dreaming. How else would dragons breath fire onto him almost the moment he had opened his eyes in the gray world? Add to that, the fact that he had awakened still on the toilet in the lab bathroom, it was pretty clear that what had happened to them was more in the mind than anything else. God, how he'd love to get a look at Hunter's mind, but the man was still down on the planet.
Now, he stood next to the lab table, looking at some of his colleagues. Jaylana, the newest addition to their little family, was actually really hot. He knew he shouldn't, but he gave himself a moment to really get a good look at her. In the lab, there would never be a chance like this again, especially with the lab techs watching your every move.
Finally feeling guilty, he cleared his throat and began to try and revive them. It had to have something to do with dying. The fiery breath of the dragon had seen to that, making Rob a crispy critter before disappearing. All manner of murder came to his mind, some of them gruesome, some of them gentle. Well, as gentle as killing someone could be. He needed to find a way that would allow him to bring them back, though, so he relied on his own field. Two compounds, one given to kill, one to revive, would need to be concocted and delivered into their systems. He quickly got to work and soon he could see Jaylana's beautiful eyelids fluttering. He had moved all of those in the room to the floor, so there would be no accidents upon waking. It didn't take him long, and soon all were in various stages of wakefulness.
