With each step he took, Raal grew more and more agitated. What were these people gawking at. They were acting as if they had never seen the commander of the base move through these corridors. It made him wonder just how deep the seeds of deception flowed within these walls. While Raal's mind ran wild with conspiracies, most people only paused to stare, point and whisper at the sight of blood, dripping from his wounded hand. Many of them curious what had happened to the Captain.
The gaze of a single person caused Raal to pause in his tracks as he glared back at the man. His eyes narrowed as he studied him, wondering if he were within this ring of conspirators as well. He then felt a hand on his arm. His head snapped to the side as they fell upon one of the officers that had been escorting him. "This way, sir," he said. He was respectful to the rank, and clearly following orders... Kayden's orders. Raal slowly turned, his eyes glancing in the direction of the man, but not finding him. After a brief survey, Raal continued the march to the Medical Bay.
As he stepped inside, his eyes surveyed the room, as he wondered where the allegiances here lay. One of the security officers gestured towards a vacant biobed, and Raal moved in that direction. He sat down upon the bed one of the security officers stood sentry nearby. The other had moved towards a member of the medical staff, likely relaying the orders he'd been given. It was now a waiting game. Raal only wondered if this place would be a place of sanctuary, or a prison.
