Myles had gotten himself lost. So lost that he was pretty much walking loops around the Moonbase gaining multiple looks of curiosity which he blithely ignored as he walked with a padd ahead of him, a map in full display. Without so much as a by your leave, he found himself walking into something squishy and vaguely attractive.
"Watch where you're going, pinkskin!"
Myles scowled, "Speak for yourself, frosty,"
The retort was enough to make the Andorian woman stop in her tracks and peer at him incredulously. Myles held his ground with a return stare before splitting a grin at her and walking on just in the same fashion as he had before. It wasn't long before he had to stop again, eyeballing the map as if he was just about ready to smack over the next head that happened to pass him by. Perhaps, thankfully for that next possible person, the Andorian woman tapped him on the shoulder.
"You're lost, aren't you, Pinkskin?"
Myles looked up at her, she was a good three to four heads taller than he was by a good stretch. He watched as she tilted her head at him, her antennae twitching about upon her head surrounded by white hair. He scowled facing a dilemma. His stubbornness told him that he needed no help from some arrogant blue skin but he had lost count of how many rotations he had made of the shopping levels of the Moonbase. He didn't really want to go round in more circles staring at a map that was not very useful to him.
"No. Maybe," he finally conceded, much to the amusement of the Andorian. He winced as she chuckled at him before she nodded and took to taking a hold of a bare, burly arm.
"What is it you're failing to find anyway, Pinkskin?"
Myles grumbled, "The pet store... I heard they had a rather exotic one here and I need somethin' interestin' fo' Sami,"
"Sami?" was the reply that seem half interested as she began steering him towards a particular direction. Some things looked familiar to him as they walked round and he was getting a nasty feeling he had probably walked right past the damned establishment as it was. Not that he was going to admit that to her, of all people.
"My Terrier, she's a dog. You know what a dog is, righ'?"
"Yes. I know what a dog is, Pinkskin," she returned as she stopped in front of what looked like the greatest menagerie in the cosmos. "Here you are. How you could have missed it, I do not know," she shook her head at him, disparagingly. "Anyway, hope you find what you're looking for, Pinkskin."
"It's Lynch, not Pinkskin, damn it!" he called after as she walked away. Rolling his eyes, he stowed his padd away as he walked inside. The place was quite big and it was very noisy with grunts, snorts and squawks and other noises that animals could make. It was very big emporium of creatures and creature accessories. However, whilst it was big and new, it was also quite dingy and grubby and several characters that were suspect to Myles. He could see which were the shady kind and those that were just best avoided.
Still, he wondered what shiny new toy he could get for Sami, his beloved pooch.
