One of the good things about being small and light was that Bob could hide in places that no one would think to look for a living, breathing threat. One of the bad things about being Bob was that he didn't blend in well in a crowd. The latter of the two statements hindered him more often than he liked, but the former helped him get where he currently sat, inside one of the Cardassian ships that was under repair at the Station. No, he wasn't on the Gul's ship, he wasn't that stupid. Even still, he was certain this would lead to nothing but trouble, but he really had no choice.
Carefully prying open the luggage, a feat he had mastered earlier in life, he extended an antenna stalk out of the gap and listened. There was no heartbeat, no breathing nearby, so he popped his head out and looked around. "Bob is in a closet," he whispered as he extracted the rest of his body from the suitcase. A sock stayed attached to his back due to static electricity, unnoticed by Bob as he quietly opened the closet door.
"Make yourself comfortable," a voice said and Bob's eyes just about popped out of his head, but the voice was coming from the other room. Looking around quickly, Bob found a tall vase and jumped inside of it, his limbs mingling with the decorative, dried foliage stalks already inside.
Footsteps padded into the room and he heard someone get onto the bed. Gingerly, he lifted his head and peeked out through the dry branches. His target was on the dresser, a large violet mineral on display.
"Something to drink?"
"Surprise me."
Bob's eyes swiveled and he took in a tiny breath. What was she doing here?!
